Introduction
Snowboarding is one of the fastest growing winter sports. In the world of snowboarding there is many events such as the halfpipe, slalom and snowboard cross. In the halfpipe there is good riders such as Shannon Dunn, Maelle Ricker, Ticholle Thost, Kim Stacey and many more women in the halfpipe. Some of the men in the halfpipe include Ross Powers, Todd Richards, Tommy Czeschin and of coarse Mike Michealchuck. Women in the slalom are Ursula Fingerlos, Margherta Parini, Karine Ruby and Sandra Van Ert whom is on of the oldest slalom riders. Some men in the slalom are Ian Price, Mark Fawcett, Thomas Prugger and of coarse our own Canadian whom won a gold metal in Nagano, Ross Rebaliati. One more of the events in snowboarding is snowboard cross with women such as Ursula Fingerloss, Sophia Bergaul and Kim Dunn. Some of the boys in this event include Jeff Moare, Ben Wainwright, Mathieu Morency and Scott Gaffney.
